about jillian (she/her).
Inner Resource Collective LLC blends modern psychology best practices and wisdom from spiritual traditions around the world. I draw from my experience working as a mental health counselor in private practice, teaching yoga internationally, and over a decade of mentorship with earth-based spiritual teachers. I work remotely in an office located on the unceded, traditional land of the Abenaki people. I am tending a relationship with this land that includes wetlands, forest, meadow, an organic garden, and many known and unknown wildlife.
My background includes both formal academic training as well as intuitive and heart-centered learning. I hold an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and a masters in clinical counseling psychology from La Salle University. I studied basic courses in mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) through Penn Medicine, mindful self-compassion training (MSC) through the Institute for Spirituality and Health, Toltec philosophy with Heatherash Amara, Eco-spiritual Mentoring with Jyl Scott-Reagan and Drs. William Taegel and Lillie Rowden, and most recently completed a Certificate in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies and Research from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). I am an LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC life-affirming person. I respect all intersecting identities. I recognize that I will have blind-spots and blind-spots about my blind-spots when it comes to others' lived experiences. It is an ongoing process to cultivate a safe, inclusive space that recognizes wholeness. I welcome feedback on how to do this.
